Aspirin is fine for dogs, as long as you use buffered aspirin.  However, I recommend using herbs like white willow bark or other anti-inflammatories as they have less side effects.  Send me a message at info@loveyourpet.biz to discuss proper dosage and other recommendations.

For cats, aspirin is a big no-no, as well as white willow bark, since it's active compound is what aspirin is often derived from.  There are safer anti-inflammatories for cats.  Again, feel free to drop an email to info@loveyourpet.biz
